By canoe: discovering the wild river: the "little Amazon"
The Leyre is a quiet and wild river that stretches for nearly 135 km, which crosses the Moor forest and flows into the Arcachon Bay through a delta with multiple arms.
Its banks constitute an exceptional natural environment with its lush forest and rich fauna and flora.
On marks, set, GO!!!!! There are many half-day and full-day trips. There are many entrances and exits. The Leyre is also a beautiful 2 to 5 days sailing trip while roaming!
Between pine forests and remarkable heritage, the bike path on an old railway linking the Arcachon Bay to Bazadais, enchants both athletes and fans of bike rides.
